Sachi stood silently by her brothers grave. She didn't feel sad or anything and she couldn't cry, she just stood there blankly starring at his head stone thinking. Sachi closed her hand around a precious compass he gave her as a birthday present. He claimed that he found it while digging in the dirt and since it was golden (after washing it) he thought it would make a wonderful present. Sachi loved it and she took it everywhere tied around her neck on a chain. Rage bubbled within her, she remember the look on his face...that look, that horrible look of death slowly taking the peaceful soul of innocent prey. It didn't care whether everyone was heartbroken and crying...they just wanted to feed off the soul from a lifeless body that lay pale and limp. As pale as a ghost. Sachi trembled a touch but she kept remembering his face, his eyes wide with a trace of fear in the blank dilated brown depths of his eyes. His facw was as white as death itself and his mouth trickled blood. Sachi knew that someone had done this, she knew that someone had murdered her brother with a cold and hateful heart. This person...this person deserved to die. Sachi kneeled down and touched the soft dirt and with her other hand, she touched the petal of a flower that was put before him. Sachi was the only one left grieving for her lost brother. Everyone else had gone inside to escape the cool drizzle that rained from the darkening sky. "No matter what..." She said, her voice trembled lightly as she fought back the urge to scream and wail with agony and greif, oh how she missed her brother...her dear little brother. How could someone do this? How could someone kill such a sweet, innocent little boy with a smile that could make the saddest person ever, a laugh that brightened up everyones day, a face that always smiled. Haiden, that was his name, he was only eight years old...no one deserved to die at such a young age when they had so much to explore, when they had such a big amazing world to see and experience. Sachi bit her lip until it began to bleed. She lay down not caring whether her clothes got dirty...she just wanted to lay with her brother one last time. How sudden someone could be given a life to live...breath to breathe...the power to feel and touch, to see, and to care. Haiden was given a great life and he lived it as if it were thousands of gold blocks. Haiden was so carefree, he wasn't afraid to say his opinion or stand up for what he beleived was right. He took any punishment that he deserved and helped the weak. He thought himself no better then a ant "Everyone, every creature, everything is equal to me, I am no better...I am no worse so I will treat the world how I want to be treated, I will stand up for the weak and defend the small, I will stand up to the strong and testify for the right. I will be friends with those who have none, no one desserves to live a life friendless and alone." That's what he used to say. Haiden didn't care if he was called names..."If I hadn't a friend in the world, I'd have my family who loves and cares for me and they always will, not a hundred friends could ever take the place of my family." is also what he used to say. The love that drifted from his voice and the power that also boomed from that voice. The happiness that shone from such soft eyes and the gentleness and kindness that you could feel in his touch. A perfect boy, brother, son...he was just so perfect, he deserved to live a long life. Sachi's eyes filled with tears as she angry pounded the damp grass. She pressed her head to the ground sobbing heavily. "W-why?..." Sachi clenched her teeth but loud sobs kept filling the silent air. "Don't leave me...my brother...don't, you...never deserved this!" She sobbed. Sachi lifted herself up and looked sadly at her brothers stone. It was beautifuly carved and his grave was neatly lined...but, he didn't need it. What he needed was his life back, the breathe that filled his body...the soul that made him who he was. Sachi didn't care if she had to give up something special...all she wanted was someone who was better then all the money in the world or gold...her brother! Sachi's eyes filled up more and she wiped them. "I'll find out who did this to you...I will murder him and avenge your death..." She vowed softly. But then, something hit Sachi...there was a special type of ritual or...something, it was a soul trade. "They say...if you trade the soul of a person with a life then you can the life of someone else back..." The words flowed softly from Sachi's lips. Those words were powerful, it made Sachi begin to beleive it was true. She looked at the sky which was beginning to become dotted with glowing stars. "Everytime someone dies...a star is born! Everytime someone murders and when they die...no star is created...one is destroyed." Sachi murmured. A small smile formed on Sachi's lips and her face twisted into a sort of evil smirk. She placed her hands on her brothers grave. "Dear brother...I will kill the man who killed you and I will trade your soul for his and give it to your body and you will be able to live the life you were truly meant to live and I won't let anyone ever harm you again!" She vowed. A tear fell and landed silently on her brothers grave as Sachi sobbed. "I will..." She promised. "I will..." |
